Wooden custom pallets - atypical sizes
When we say "custom pallets", we mean pallets with general dimensions (length and width) other than the standard (800x1200, 1000x1200 and 600x800 mm.).
Our company can make custom pallets starting from a minimum of 600 mm up to a maximum of 6000 mm. Board width for this pallet type can range from 70 mm and reach up to 120 mm, while they can be 13 to 22 mm thick and the width and length of the blocks (feet) can range from 70 mm and reach up to 120 mm, at a height from 70 to 100 mm.
A custom size pallet does not only mean general dimensions different from standard sizes. A pallet is considered atypical if it is out of the standard even in terms of its configuration/construction.
For example, on the middle deck (the boards at the middle of the pallet), custom pallets can have 5 boards instead of 3, as is standard, to increase strength. If you go to the "Photos" section of this product, you will see images of this pallet in the example (the images are with a 1150x1000 mm pallet).
Another example would be a custom pallet that has 5 or 6 boards on the bottom deck (the "floor" boards) instead of 3, as in standard pallets or EURO pallets. The 5 or 6 boards on the bottom deck are placed both along and across the pallet to increase its bending resistance. This can be necessary in some cases when the pallets are stored on 2-bar shelves (no bar in the middle) or when the palletised goods protrude from its surface and are strapped (when tightening the strap, a standard pallet can bend, whereas this pallet will hold).
